Dozens of former students now fly for Delta, Skywest, Continental Express, United Express, Horizon Air, US Navy, US Air Force, Colorado Air Guard, and several corporate flight departments. Our professional program is a compilation of everything we've learned over the last 25 years or so, from flying in military flight crews, United Express, Air Taxi Charters, Lufthansa training center, and thousands of hours teaching the art and science of flight. We want to help you become the Best Pilot Money Can Buy, For Less Of It.
We offer two tracks for training.
The "A" track is designed to enable you to acquire an Associates Degree in a unique fashion. You will train 5 days per week at the Laramie Regional Airport and finish your Aviation ground classes and 255 hours of flight training in 6-7 months. At the same time, you will attend general education classes at the local community college, Laramie County Community College. These class credits will then transfer to our program and complete your Associates Degree. Once you have completed the flight training and aviation ground courses, you will be placed in a flying job, such as a flight instructor or first officer in a Part 135 operation, where you will earn an income while you finish your college degree online.
The "B" track is intended for those who either don't want a college degree, or perhaps already have a degree, and is simply the flight portion of the "A" track. Completion of this track will also result in job placement so as to enable you to begin earning a living flying airplanes.
In either case, graduates will earn a Commercial Pilot License with Single and Multi engine privileges, an instrument rating in airplanes, and a flight instructor license. All students will be tailwheel endorsed, mountain trained, trained in turbocharged aircraft operations, and basic Part 135 ground school completed.
All students will receive a significant amount of training on our new Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). This reduces the cost of training quite a bit for up to 50 of the 250 hours required for a commercial pilot license.
All the supplies you'll need for Pilot Training, Aeronautical charts, and Special Orders are available! We carry a wide variety of the pilot supplies normally used in our programs and can order anything you want for delivery in a few days. Please call 307-742-2708 for more information.
